As It Happened: David Moyes’ pre-Fulham press conference

9.45am A very good morning to you and welcome to our live coverage of the manager’s pre-Fulham prsss
conference.
Every word David Moyes said on West Ham's Fulham win, chants, Lucas Paqueta and Angelo Ogbonna - football.london
It’s less than 12 hours since the final whistle blew on a famous night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but we’re back at it right away as the intense December schedule continues.
We’re expecting David Moyes to be with us in 15 minutes or so when he’ll be looking ahead to the trip to Craven Cottage, and reflecting a little on last night’s win, no doubt.
9.50am There’s no other place to start than with our come-from-behind 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur last night.
Jarrod Bowen and James Ward-Prowse struck in the second half to silence the home support and spark a party in the away end.
So I can’t think of a better way to kick-start your Friday than by enjoying the goals again above!
Freiburg
9.55am Following Sunday’s game at Craven Cottage, we’re back at home again next Thursday when Freiburg come to town in our UEFA Europa League Group A finale.
It all comes down to this, with top spot on the line. A point or better would ensure we finish top and head straight to the round of 16, avoiding the knockout play-off round in February.

10.10am Jarrod Bowen was thrilled with last night’s comeback win at Spurs.
He told us: “Everyone, to a man tonight, was excellent. And that’s what it takes to win against a top side. Those are the standards and this is what it means.
“We want to enjoy these moments across the whole Club. This is a massive statement and to get results in the Premier League, you have to play like that and hold onto those three points. Credit to everyone, we worked to a man.
“We were a goal down and we were still in the game but I think we were a couple of yards off the pace in the first half. Tottenham are a really good side, take nothing away from them, but we showed them in the second half what we’re about as well. It was, in a way, a classic West Ham performance. We’ve shown some quality on the ball and we’ve come away with three points.”
“It was a huge win for us. Tottenham are one of the top teams and have been playing exceptionally well, so for us to go and get the win was exceptional.”
“Possession doesn’t necessarily get you the win, It’s better if you do have it, but we found a way to get the result.
“All credit to the players, they did a really good job.”
“He can play the centre-forward position as well.
“Jarrod has always scored goals. He’s scored a lot of goals coming off wide areas, but I think he has showed he can play centrally as well.
“There are games we will play him wide and there are games where we will play him as a centre-forward.”
Now a question on Mohammed Kudus…
“Mo has been exceptional in so many different ways.
“He’s been an assist-maker and he’s been a goalscorer for us. He work-rate for the team [has been great] and I can only see him improving as he goes on.”
Now moving on to Fulham…
“I think they are a very good team. They’ve come into a bit of form as well and have a very good manager.
“Every game in the Premier League is hard. They scored three against Liverpool and five midweek against Forest.
“Whatever they’re doing they’re getting it right and they’ve become a strong Premier League team.”
He’s asked about team news on the back of last night’s game now…
“No team news to give out. We’re reporting in so early, so we’re waiting for them to check in and we’ll find out in the next few hours.”
Next is one on Łukasz Fabiański after he came in for Alphonse Areola due to injury at Spurs…
“Łukasz Fabiański is a superb goalkeeper and has been for years and years here.
“I wasn’t surprised at how well he played and how comfortable he was coming in.
“He was excellent, he really was.”
Back to Fulham and Marco Silva…
“Marco Silva has done a great job getting them up and stabilising them.
“They are becoming more of a regular Premier League club and they’ve been competitive.”
