Predicted Tottenham XI to take on Newcastle – Postecoglou makes a change

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Newcastle United to N17 for an all-important clash in the race for the Champions League places this season.

We believe that Ange Postecoglou will make one change from his starting line-up that lost to West Ham United on Thursday, but Guglielmo Vicario will remain between the sticks.

Despite his poor backpass on Thursday, Destiny Udogie keeps his place at left-back, while Pedro Porro, who was arguably Man of the Match against the Hammers, stays at right-back.

In the centre of defence, Cristian Romero and Ben Davies will be hoping for better luck after a shot pinballed between them to set up Jarrod Bowen last time out.

In midfield, Yves Bissouma remains the pivot, while Giovani Lo Celso is the main creative force, but Pape Matar Sarr passes a fitness test to return to the XI in place of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Up front, Postecoglou names Heung-min Son, who recovers from a back injury in time to play, alongside Dejan Kulusevski and Brennan Johnson again, with Richarlison not yet fit enough to start.
